Strip Ventilators
A range of PVC Strip Ventilators comprises slotted profiles to meet
all roofline ventilation requirements in conjunction with either Swish
Gee Pee or other soffit boards. As with Polo profiles, they are supplied
in 10mm and 25mm air gap configurations.
Over Fascia Protection
Jumbotec is designed for eaves protection. It eliminates the problems
arising from deterioration of traditional roofing felts. It is of
particular benefit in refurbishment applications where deterioration of
the felt has already occurred. Manufactured from PVC, Jombotec is
supplied in 2.5m lengths.
A Vented Eaves Protector C404 is available where both eaves protection
and ventilation are required in one unit. A separate bird comb
attachment C405 may also be incorporated into the assembly to stop small
birds and larger insects entering under the eaves tiles.
Over Fascia Ventilator C504 allows a continuous 10mm air path to be
incorporated into new build applications in order to retain a clean
appearance to the soffit line. Over Fascia Ventilator C505 allows a
continuous 25mm air path.
Cladding Systems
The Swish range of cladding profiles offers the specifier a choice of
4 styles, with a comprehensive range of components, trims and fixings.
They present the ideal substitute for timber claddings, with the added
advantage of attractive, low maintenance qualities, weather resistance
and durability. In addition, they can significantly improve the thermal
performance of buildings, particularly when combined with insulation.

Colour Range
Components are supplied as standard in 5m lengths and White, however,
selected cladding profiles are also available in Sahara Beige, Mahogany,
Rosewood and Light Oak.

Fire Retardant
Swish Cellular PVC conforms to the following requirements:
- BS.476 : Part 7 : 1987 Surface Spread of Flame test and achieved
CLASS 1
- BS.2782 : Part 1 (method 140E) 182 (1988). Alcohol cup test:
Very low flammability
- ASTM D2862-77: Critical oxygen index test: 48%
- DIN 4102 Part 1 : (Class B)
Colour Fastness
Colour fastness assessed in accordance with BS.1006 shows that white
Swish Cellular PVC achieves a rating of 7-8 (8 being the text maximum)
and that therefore no significant fading or change in whiteness can be
expected for a minimum of 20 years.
Swish has also tested its own, and competitors, products using the
latest ACT and suntest protocols. Both the real-time and laboratory
tests demonstrate the superior performance of the Swish formulation
versus lead based systems.
Organic pigments used in the manufacture of coloured products are chosen
for their colour fast properties. However, as with all pigments, some
natural shading will occur over a number of years.
Climate
If intended for use in climates other than those common to northern
Europe, please consult Swish Building Products Ltd for advice. Swish
Cellular PVC profiles and components for external use with normally
perform satisfactorily in ambient air temperatures up to 50ºC.
