The Urban Tree Planter developed by Waterman Group Plc and Pauley Landscapes Ltd will help architects, developers and specifiers achieve a number of key sustainability goals in all kinds of developments. Pauley Landscapes is part of the Pauley Group which has been established since 1975 who work with an international clientele. The benefits of the planter are presented below in relation to the three pillars of sustainability; environment, society and economy. In addition, use of the planter contributes to meeting the requirements of a number of planning policy statements and best practice recommendations made by planning authorities around the world. SpecificationThe Planter is a bespoke unit, which is typically available in three sizes: 1m, 1.5m and 2m cubed. The Planter is made from galvanised sheet steel and is height adjustable, self/auto irrigating and self-draining. The 2 tonne Planter is suitable for semi mature and mature trees up to a max of 12m and incorporates three separate anchor and safety systems. The Planter weighs 20 tonnes saturated. We offer a full design, manufacture, delivery and installation service or, alternatively, a supply only service working with local fabricators throughout the UK and overseas. Ongoing servicing and maintenance (or wireless and online husbandry via the internet) can be arranged through our affiliates and sub-contractors.
