Advantages to the Architect & Developer:
Raised access floors do not require structural slabs to be screeded -
so saving on material cost and overall building height.
Raised access floors containing air conditioning systems as well as
power distribution can, if uplighters are used, obviate the need for
ceiling voids - so
saving on material cost and overall building height.
Overall savings in building height offer the choice of savings in costs,
or the possibilty of additional floors - so producing additional rental
earnings.
The freedom to omit suspended ceilings allows the retention of decorated
ceilings - particularly in refurbishment projects.
Advantages to the Builder & Contractor:
So long as riser cores are complete, air conditioning equipment need
not be selected and installed until office layouts are defined.
Where suspended ceilings are unnecessary, construction programmes will
be reduced.
Since fantile terminals require only electrical connections, and since
CAM zone units serve large areas, amounts of pipework are significantly
reduced, thus
further reducing construction programmes.

- Individual local control of temperature and fan-speed settings.
- Ease and speed of office rearrangement.
- Speed and economy when installing additional discharge
terminals.
- Standard integrated controls provide comprehensive monitoring
and adjustment facilities.
- Full IP controls and remote monitoring available.
