We are a family owned business located in Milton Keynes and operating from a large purpose built factory, we have over sixty years of manufacturing experience along with some of the latest technology within our industry. Norfolk & Norwich Hospital Signage on a Grand Scale
A new £229m PFI development 989 bed hospital with 3500 rooms, 4800 doors, 11 entrances and 26 operating theatres. Drakard & Humble Ltd manufactured and fixed 15,962 signs!

We worked closely with Laing Construction on this new P.F.I. Hospital developing a full wayfinding strategy from plans and preliminary drawings, following consultation with the hospital.  We also developed an attractive yet cost-effective sign solution to enable the client to achieve the quantity of signs required at an acceptable budget.

The project was successfully completed on time.

BMI Healthcare Exterior Signage
BMI Healthcare is the Acute Hospital Division of General Healthcare Group and is the largest independent provider in the UK with over forty hospitals.

Drakard & Humble Ltd has been an approved supplier for BMI Healthcare providing signs for both new hospitals and existing facilities.

For BMI projects Drakard & Humble Ltd use their own D & H Diamond system. The extruded aluminium system can be manufactured in any size and is used both internally and externally.

New Heights Retail Signage
New Heights opened its first showroom in Cricklewood North London in the autumn of 1999 and since then has quickly grown to a national chain of 11 showrooms.

Drakard & Humble Ltd quickly built an excellent working relationship with New Heights and is very pleased to be associated with this quality retailer.

The Birmingham store featured here is opposite the new Bullring Shopping Centre.
The sign shown has individual built-up letters face illuminated with cold cathode. The sign proved a small challenge as the internally illuminated letters could not be fitted to the glazing; in addition there were no suitable locations for the transformers.

The sign was suspended in front of the glazing with the transformers housed in a backpanel behind the letters.

ExCeL Exhibition Centre Exterior Signage
ExCeL is London’s latest exhibition and conference centre. Drakard and Humble Ltd worked as part of the design team with Idea and Air Creative.
We used our design engineering expertise to develop designs and produce working drawings. We then manufactured and installed all internal and external wayfinding signs.
