The Science Office plants have become more popular over the last 30 years, with research reinforcing the belief that they improve the atmosphere, reduce stress, and sharpen concentration. Aside from boosting oxygen, indoor plants such as yuccas, lilies and palms also remove airborne toxins emitted by carpets, furniture, paints, and other synthetic products in the office. They can also alleviate health claims relating to "Sick Building Syndrome." Plants release moisture into the air alleviating the dry atmosphere generated by air-conditioning and central heating units, as well as computers. Rental Maintenance Contracts Planterama Design offer contracts to suit the client’s needs from one to five years at a fixed monthly fee. The maintenance service we provide includes fortnightly service calls, watering, pruning, feeding, cleaning of plants, control of pests, to ensure a high standard of plant displays all year round. Any natural plant failures or plants that overgrow their situations will be replaced free of charge. Different species of plants may be used as replacements provided that these are of similar value and quality. Plant Selection They carry in house a large stock of various types of indoor specimen plants and trees. To ensure top quality plants are always available, their stock is imported directly from Holland and Belgium. Plant Containers Planterama Design carry a range of ceramic and fibreglass containers in stock. Container colour and size will be selected on the surrounding decor and type of plant used.
