Having gained valuable knowledge and experience, of both insulation products and contracting services, InstaGroup diversified into the roof tiling industry in 1984 with InstaRoofing Services Ltd. With a growing reputation for innovative product design, technical expertise and quality workmanship, InstaGroup next focused its attention on the growing problems of noise pollution. After extensive research and development and thorough testing, the InstaCoustic range of acoustic insulation products was launched in 1994. InstaCoustic offers a complete range of high performance acoustic floor, wall and ceiling systems, for both refurbishment and new build projects. All systems, which have been manufactured to exacting standards and independently tested, are designed to comply with, and exceed, the latest Building Regulations, Part ‘E’ in England and Wales, Part ‘H’ in Scotland and Part ‘G’ in Northern Ireland, for improved acoustic insulation in all types of dwellings. With variable system depths for greater insulation against the transmission of airborne and impact noise levels through concrete, timber and masonry, InstaCoustic patented systems offer extremely high standards of acoustic control and are certified with both field and laboratory test results. InstaCoustic has been producing high performance multi-purpose sports flooring since 1995. These versatile, impact energy absorbing, sub-floor systems are suitable for all indoor sports and leisure applications and, when combined with most proprietary sports surfaces, the finished floor is fully compliant with BS 7044: Part 4 and DIN 18032/prEN 14049, the new European standard for ‘Indoor Sports Flooring’. A combisport system, the InstaCoustic sprung sub floor comprises special rubber crumb cradles manufactured from recycled tyre products, treated timber battens and plywood overlay boards, combined with a vinyl or hardwood wear layer and shock absorption surface treatment to produce a point and area elastic sports floor. This resilient, high standard, impact energy absorption system meets all BS 7044: Part 4 and European requirements as well as the strict criteria stipulated by many sports governing bodies, such as Sports England.
