Our range of rigid panel systems includes the Gemini and Zariba fences. These products provide strong, cost effective and attractive fencing solutions and transform the fence into a feature. Founded in 1996 by Directors Alastair Henman and Paul Painter, Zaun Limited is a privately owned company, manufacturing in the UK. Specialists in the manufacture of fencing systems tailor made for individual sites, Zaun is now a key player in the UK Fencing Market and one of the fastest growing companies in an increasingly competitive industry.

Zaun is ISO9001:2000 registered and manufactures from its base in the West Midlands. This base consists of 50,000 square feet of manufacturing space on a 5 acre site.

Zaun fencing is manufactured in-house, with a minimum of the work outsourced. This means Zaun can maintain a very high degree of quality in the product, which has helped Zaun build a reputation as a fencing manufacturer who delivers quality, from the initial site survey right through to the finished product.

From a solid foundation based upon high specification welded meshes - Zaun has now also branched out into railing systems and has now installed a semi-automated railings line. This computer-controlled machinery allows Zaun to manufacture almost any type of railing from vertical bar to bow-top. Zaun can also supply customers with matching gates, electronic access, electric fencing, and more, all designed specifically to meet the customers needs. With such a broad range of products, it is no wonder that Zaun's client base is extremely diverse, encompassing high schools, high security installations, sports grounds, zoos and tennis courts.

Duo Sports - the ultimate sport netting

DUO sports fencing is a strong, high performance and attractive fence capable of providing a high level of boundary and perimeter security, as well as offering a fencing system that is designed with the sport and users in mind.

Duo Sports fencing has been proven to withstand the rigours of the most demanding applications such as five-a-side football. The twin wire panel consists of two 8mm horizontal wires welded either side of the vertical wires. Safe play is ensured as the panel ends are covered with a continuous clamp bars to eliminate the risk of catching on the wires. Duo sports fencing even includes special rubber inserts so that noise is reduced from ball impacts; a feature that is highly appreciated and essential in residential areas.

Super Sports Rebound Fencing

Zaun manufacture a sports rebound fencing known as the Super Sports Rebound Panel Zaun's Super Sports Rebound Panel has become the preferred and popular choice over wooden rebound board systems which offer a hiding place to trespassers and children, acts a canvass for graffiti and is not able to provide a long lasting service life due to the nature of the material used.

Product Description and Features
The Twin horizontal 8mm wires ensure vital resistance to deformation from impacts and vandalism and it is suitable for a range of multi sports games areas. Most importantly, the high-density twin wire construction allows for rebound qualities similar to that of a solid surface, meaning that the angle at which a ball strikes the surface will be the same as the angle at which it leaves the surface. The panels' structural strength makes it ready for the pressure and abuse of many sports activities, giving the fence a degree of rigidity unparalleled by any other wire product commonly available.

Goal Units

Zaun fencing systems are increasingly being specified in a number of sport and leisure applications. In an effort to assist our customers in developing an environment where sports can be enjoyed, Zaun has developed a number of Goal Units that will transform an enclosure in to an attractive sports area. These can be supplied with Zaun fencing, (most commonly Duo Sports or Super Rebound) or purchased as stand alone items.

The Zaun mesh is so strong that it can even be used instead of goal netting, giving a goal that is neat, pleasing to the eye, vandal resistant and requires little or no maintenance. Basketball Units Zaun are now able to offer a range of basketball units that will transform an enclosed area in to a sports area.

Basketball Units

can easily be incorporated in to the fencing system at very little cost, and offer an exciting addition to more traditional sports. Basketball is becoming an increasingly popular sport, with many towns and cities having their own teams. Increasing the number of sporting options available to young people will increase the amount of sport that is played, benefiting their health and allowing easy observation of a large number of people.

Tennis Netting

Zaun now manufacture a specially designed 40x200mm tennis mesh which eliminates the possibility of tennis balls passing straight through the mesh. The wire centres are 10mm closer together than their standard 200x50mm mesh.
